Last year, I created a short, two-minute video on how to achieve a soft and dreamy effect. This time, I am taking it to the next level by demonstrating how to add glow effect using Photoshop.
Backstory: While hiking on a trail, I stumbled upon a cute little mushroom standing alone. The idea was to make it look like it belonged in an enchanted forest. To achieve this, I added glow, bokeh, and details to the scene.
If you have some photos in mind that you want to transform into enchanting masterpieces, follow along as I guide you through the process.
Bridging the gap between vision and execution
In this video, you will see how I select the shot, find visual references, source elements, and combine them all together.
I will demonstrate how to use some of the key features
► Generative Fill
► Layer Mask
► Blending Mode
► Brushes
► Adjustment Layers
“Generative Fill” is a new feature in the Photoshop Beta that allows you to create, add, remove, or replace images using text prompts powered by Adobe Firefly AI.
However, even if you do not have access to Photoshop Beta, you can still learn the rest of the workflow that I share in older versions of Photoshop. The steps are relatively straightforward.
You can even use Snapseed to achieve the same editing results, as it also includes layer masks, blending modes, and brushes.
